CHEAPYDMA Card Setup
This is a very easy guide to install and use your CHEAPYDMA DMA Card. Follow each step slowly. Even if you are not good with computers, don’t worry — just copy what is written.
Steps in this guide:1) Prepare your Game PC 🖥️
⏻ Step 1: Turn OFF your Game PC
Make sure your main computer (Game PC) is completely turned off before you touch anything.
🪛 Step 2: Insert the DMA Card
Find an empty PCI-e slot inside your Game PC. Push the CHEAPYDMA card inside until it clicks.
🔌 Step 3: Connect the USB Cable
Take the USB cable that comes with your card. Connect it from the CHEAPYDMA card to your second computer.
⚙️ Step 4: Enter the BIOS (PC Settings)
Turn ON your Game PC and enter the BIOS. You do this by pressing DEL
, F2
or ESC
many times when the PC starts. (Try again if it doesn’t work the first time.)
🚫 Step 5: Turn OFF “Virtualization”
In BIOS, find “Virtualization” and turn it OFF. This is very important or the card will not work.
🔵 If you have Intel CPU:
- Turn OFF:
VT-d
- Turn OFF:
Intel Virtualization Technology
- Turn OFF:
IOMMU
(if you see it)
🟠 If you have AMD CPU:
- Turn OFF:
SVM
- Turn OFF:
IOMMU
🛠️ Step 6: Optional Settings
- Turn OFF NX-Bit / Execute Disable Bit
- Set PCIe Slot → Gen1 for maximum compatibility
🪟 Step 7: Change a setting in Windows
- On your Game PC, open Windows Security.
- Click:
Device Security → Core Isolation → Core Isolation Details
- Turn OFF “Memory Integrity”.
2) Connect the Second PC 💻
- Keep the USB cable connected between your CHEAPYDMA card and your second computer.
- Turn ON the second computer and wait a little until Windows installs drivers automatically.
- Now, you need to install the CHEAPYDMA driver (see next step).
3) Install the Driver ⚡
⬇️ Download CHEAPYDMA Driver (Windows)
- Download the driver using the button above.
- Open the installer and click “Next” until finished.
- When done, open Device Manager and check that DMA Card is showing with no warning symbol.
4) Help / Problems (FAQ) ❓
❌ The card is not detected
- Check that the card is fully inside the PCI-e slot.
- Try another PCI-e slot if possible.
- Make sure “Virtualization” is OFF in BIOS.
- Check the USB cable between the card and the second PC.
⚠️ Windows says “Memory Integrity” error
Turn it OFF in Windows Security (see Step 7 above).
⌨️ I can’t enter BIOS
Restart your PC and press DEL
, F2
or ESC
many times during start.
💥 My PC crashes after install
- Check that Virtualization is OFF.
- Force PCIe slot to Gen1.
- If you use overclock profiles (XMP), turn them off for testing.
